Warm Up (5 min)
- Jog 5 laps around the gym
Notes
- To warm up for the first exercise
- Increase heart rate
Racket and Shuttle Relay
- Groups of 3-5
- One shuttle each
- Line up in a perpendicular row on the baseline
- One person at a time, will tap and control the shuttle while walking forwards towards the other end of the gym
- Tap the wall and head back
- Once they return, pass the shuttle to the next person in line
- If they drop the shuttle/lose control of it, they will pick it up and continue (to increase the difficulty they can restart at the baseline when they drop it)

Backhand Short Serve
- One shuttle per person
- Create a target for them to aim at
- Start behind the service line and backhand serve to the target
- Pick up and restart
- Coaches should walk around and correct students if needed

- Practice the proper technique of backhand serving
Break (5min)
- Get racket after break
Backhand Short Serve Team Competition
- Groups of 3-4
- Create a target for them to aim at
- Start behind the service line and backhand serve to the target
- Which ever group gets 5 in the target first wins
- Coaches should walk around and correct students if needed

Net Singles
- Groups of 2
- Each pair has a shuttle
- Restricted to only the front court
- Net to each other
- Whoever wins, they’ll move up (kings court)

Stretching/Cool Down (duration depends on the amount of time left)
- sit down, feet together and reach forward
- legs as apart as possible, reach for each foot then center
- one arm across body and other arm pulls it closer to body
